CARGO PLANES PARKING APRON PROJECT At the beginning of July 2004, a foreign construction engineering company won the tender to build the parking apron for the cargo terminal of Hong Kong Chak Lap Kok Airport, it is required to cast concrete within one month. In view of the tight construction schedule, the company decided to set up a concrete batching plant on site. For a normal stationary plant, it would take six months before concrete can be produced, the only solution is to employ a fully mobile batching plant that can go into production in very short time because it requires no fabrication and no expensive foundation works, most importantly, it is immediate available. The company contacted CONQUIP, and bought a Mob-60, concrete supply is achieved in two weeks. |
