ROTARY VALVES: The RV rotary valves have been designed for universal use. They are ideally suited to control delivery or discharge of powder or pelletized products to and from silos, hoppers, pneumatic conveying systems, bag filters and centrifugal separators.

Given the variety of types, specific diagrams for every material have not been prepared. However, here are some essential data to make a correct choice easier:A) The box load for powder or similar material is more or less 80% of the theoretical value and optimum levels can be obtained with valve rotation at 20 rpm. B) Low valve rotation means low wear level, thus, if you are working with abrasive materials, it is better to use large capacity valves which run at low speed. C) The construction material depends on the type of material to handle.

RVS-BLOW THROUGH ROTARY VALVES: The RVS series of rotary valves are conceived and designed for use in pneumatic conveyor systems, in accordance with the quality standards required by the market. Thanks to the special techniques adopted, these machines find their ideal use in controlled batching and unloading of organic, inorganic, plastic materials, having different grain size. The same fields of application are also valid for the RVC series of rotary valves, Unlike the RVS series, the RVC series consists of gravity rotary valves, the production of this new series is aimed at extending the well-know RV series as regards, both features and versatility.

Each series comprises four rotary valves, each of which has a different rotating capacity, the minimum capacity varies according to the rotation speed set at the rotor by the external motor drive. Our standard covers three basic speeds - 30/20/10 rpm. Depending on the user requirements, each rotary valve is provided with a motor drive having a mechanical variator, which covers the widest possible speed range. It is not possible to provide a specific diagram for each application, however, some of the important points are highlighted below: A) The loading coefficient in case or powders or similar materials varies according to the flowability of the material and rotor rotation speed. B) Low wear values correspond to low rotation speeds; therefore, for highly abrasive materials, it is economia\cal to use high capacity rotary valves, with low speeds. C) Depending on the type of material handled, it is advisable to distinguish between the various possible structures:

MFX-FLEXIBLE HELIX CONVEYORS:MULTIFLEX is a helix conveyor in which both the outer tube and the screw tself can be bent to give maximum pumping efficiency. Without blockages it can convey powders(from fairly coarse types down to particle sizes of a few microns in diameter), granules, milled substances, mixtures flaked cereals, liquids, crystals and pastes regardless of moisture or density. The outer tube and helix are both made of low wear industrial plastics, Unlike open systems such as conveyor belts or elevators, this system is hermetically sealed. There is no contamination from outside and the material cannot be split or blown away to dirty the surrounding area. This simple unit can easily be added to existing plants and does require need filters, cyclones or tother accessories required by air conveying systems. This means that it can be used in sectors such as plastics, food processing, animal feed production, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, construction, etc.

LEVEL INDICATORS: Two types are commonly used, one for the maximun level and one for the minimun level, screwed into pipe unions, with different threads(std.1 1/2" gas) which are welded to the wall of the silo. They are supplied with voltages of 24/48V, 110/230V,50/60Hz and 24V DC.

 

 

PINCH VALVE:The VM type pinch valve has been designed to be used in a range of applications. Primary use is to arrest the product flow in pneumatic conveying lines, such as powders, granules, fibres and liquids. The wide range of sleeve materials in combination with various types of bodies enable valve to be utilized in a number of industries.

The VM pinch valve consists of a metal outer body and an inner elastomer sleeve, reinforced by a fabric inlay, fixed between two flanges. The valve is "closed" by applying a control agent, i.e. compressed air or water under pressure, to the sleeve. The required pressure interval to close the sleeve is approx. 1,5 to 2 bar. Different types of flanges are available on request: with threading, with clamp and with both.
