TAPERED TWIN SHAFT SCREW FEEDER

The twin screw bn
dischargers nuc derive from many years of experience in application and
testing against many materials accumulated over the last 15years by WAM.
The refinements and improvements made to these bin dischargers make them
ideal to guarantee discharger of variety of materials including: miling
products(flour, bran, etc.), non homogeneous products(woodchips, paper,
etc.), bridging products(sawdust, soya, etc.). The nuc dischargers are constructed
of mild steel. An upper flange is fitted to meet the outlet of the bin/hopper.
There are 2 tapered screw, flights inside, both of them having a progressively
bigger pitch. The through is tapered to match the screw flight diameter.
This construction gives the following advantages:promote
mass flow; gives wide feeding surface; avoids bridging; avoids segregation;
gives constant feeding even for very difficult products; very robust construction;
extremely reliable;gives perfect trough cleaning.

TYPE"U" "V" SCREW CONVEYORS

LIGHTWEIGHT VERSION:suitable
for use in sectors where heavy-duty systems are not required(e.g. animal
feed, plastics, soap and detergents etc.).
HEAVY DUTY VERSION:used in the following
sectors:effluent treatment and the steel industry.
EXTRA HEAVY DUTY VERSION:suitable for the
mining and cement sectors. Drive systems range from 0.55kw to 300kw.

are used in various industrial application. According to customers' requirements,
the following standard had been developed:Light duty for flour milling,
animal feed milling for products such as:cereals, flours and meals, as well
as their by-products, detergents and respective raw materials. Heavy duty
for steel, chemicals, effluent treatment for products such as:bentonite,
sand and carbonate, sludge. Extra heavy duty for:cement production, plaster
production, lime production, processing of solid waste and refuse for products
such as:cement, piaster, lime, bones, fat, etc. |

TUBULAR SCREW CONVEYORS AND FEEDERS

Consist of: external
tube with fully welded inlet and outlet(choice of angles), continuous fligthing
welded onto an internal rotating pipe, two end flanges incorporating bearings
fitted with long-lasting seals, where appropriate, intermediate hanger bearing.
The drive options are: bae shaft, direct
drive, with flexible coupling, with chain transmission.
Other options: special seals, special end
bearings, special flighting, special intermediate bearings, variable speed
drive.

SPL
- METERING SCREWS
|
High
capacity screw feeders(big diameter or high speed) are used in industrial
plants to reduce as much as possible the dosing time. As consequence there
is a loss in accuracy. This problem is solved with a small and precise
screw feeder situated under the outlet of the big screw feeder. The so-called
SPL-metering screw completes the last phase of the batching, called fine
dosing.
OPERATION:Both screws start up. A short time
before the requested weight is reached, the big screw stops(e.g.by proximity
switch). The end of the batch is given by SPL. The time depends on the
specific condition of the application(inclination of the screw feeder,
type of product,...).
